These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Everyday Scents (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the customer (“you,” “your”) for purchases made on everydayscents.com.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Products

We take care to display products, descriptions, and images as accurately as possible.
However, colours and packaging may vary slightly depending on lighting, suppliers, or your device display.
All products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after purchase, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time but confirmed orders will not be affected.

  • Payment must be made in full before dispatch.

  • Accepted payment methods include major debit/credit cards, PayPal, and Shopify Payments.

  • By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

If your payment fails or is flagged for potential fraud, we may cancel or delay your order while verification takes place.

3. Order Acceptance

After you place an order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not yet constitute acceptance.
Your order is accepted when we dispatch the items and send you a Shipping Confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if:

  • The product is unavailable

  • Payment cannot be authorised

  • There is a pricing or listing error

  • We suspect fraudulent activity or misuse of our services

If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Delivery

We aim to deliver within the timeframes stated in our Shipping Policy, but delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the order is handed to the courier.
Ownership of goods transfers once full payment is received.
We do not accept liability for delays caused by couriers, customs, or unforeseen events.

5. Returns & Refunds

Our Refund Policy applies to all sales.
In summary:

  • You can return unused, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund.

  • Returns must be approved before sending items back.

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of receipt and inspection.

  • You are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

6. Cancellations

You can cancel your order before dispatch by contacting support@everydayscents.com.
If the order has already shipped, you will need to follow the return process after receiving it.
For EU customers, the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations applies.

7. Product Authenticity & Description

Every Day Scents guarantees that all products sold on our website are 100% genuine and sourced from authorised distributors.
We do not sell imitations or counterfeit goods.
Product packaging may vary due to manufacturer updates, batch differences, or seasonal releases.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, data, or goodwill).

  • Delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g. courier strikes, customs, natural disasters).
    Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product concerned.
    Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

9. Warranty

We do not offer separate manufacturer warranties on perfumes or beauty products unless explicitly stated on the product page.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Promotions & Discount Codes

  • Only one discount code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.

  • Promotions cannot be applied to past purchases or combined with other offers.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
