Refund & Returns Policy

We hope you love your purchase from Every Day Scents. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we’re here to help.
Please read the following policy carefully before returning an item.


1. Return Eligibility

You may return new, unused, and unopened items within 30 calendar days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping fees).
To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be in its original condition — sealed, unused, and in the original packaging.

  • Any protective film, tag, or seal must remain intact.

  • Proof of purchase (e.g. order number or receipt) is required.

⚠️ Opened or used perfumes, tester bottles, and sale items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons unless faulty.


2. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at support@everydayscents.com with your order number, product name, and reason for return.

  2. Our support team will review your request within 2 business days and provide the correct return address and instructions.

  3. Once approved, please ship your item within 7 calendar days using a trackable shipping method.

Items returned without prior approval may be refused.


3. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (e.g. wrong item, defective, or damaged product), we will cover return shipping costs and issue a prepaid label.

  • If you are returning an item for other reasons (e.g. change of mind, wrong size, no longer needed), you are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • We recommend using a tracked courier and keeping proof of postage.


4. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

  • If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–5 days for the refund to appear in your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at support@everydayscents.com.


5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

  • Please notify us within 7 calendar days of receiving the item.

  • Include your order number and clear photos of the damage.
    We’ll offer either a replacement, exchange, or full refund — whichever you prefer.


6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to receive a different product, please return your original item (if eligible) and place a new order.


7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order:

  • Contact us immediately at support@everydayscents.com.

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.

  • If the order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow the return process after receiving it.


8. Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened or used perfumes

  • Tester bottles

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Items marked “final sale” on the product page


9. EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are an EU customer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items — for any reason.
To exercise this right, please contact us at support@everydayscents.com.
Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the product was defective or incorrect.
